I live in Virginia Beach.  My interests are flying, the beach, art, computers, tech, and oh yeah did I mention video games?

Trying to avoid the officer ranks. I like being enlisted!

I was a video game and tech enthusiast ever since I first played Star Trek on a government computer at the Pax River Naval Air Test Center in southern Maryland back in the late 1970′s when my Dad would take me to work on a weekend.  That computer during those days occupied several rooms.  Keyboard and LED screen in one room, disk drive and mainframe in another.  I was just a little kid at the time and was amazed.  The tape drive was the size of a washing machine!  My father was a computer systems analyst for Naval Aviation so he had access to the technology of the time.  What was this?  A 64K computer was coming to the office during the early 80′s!  Wow!  I remember my Dad gossiping about how the Japanese were working on a 1 Million K computer, or a 1 Gig processor for a Supercomputer at the time.  Amazing!  Look at the power of video game tech now.  Wow!

How far tech has come in our lives?  I can’t wait to see how far it’ll go for I am just an end user…
